Enrollment Agreement

Dental Assisting Course

The course consists of ten (10) consecutive weeks (Saturdays or Sundays), eight (8) classroom hours per week for a total of eighty (80) classroom hours of instruction. This will include lecture material as well as clinical "hands on" training. Class time is 8:00-5:00 and 1 hour for lunch. Lunch is not provided, however several eating establishments are within short driving distance or you may bring your lunch.


In some cases class will be cancelled due to weather, holidays, or other circumstance. This may extend an additional day to make up hours of instruction.


In addition, there is a forty (40) hour Externship in a dental office for "practical on-the-job training” for a total of 120 course work hours. Actual clinical experience and live patient practice. It will be the student’s responsibility to contact a dental practice and set up their externship and keep track of hours.


All training at Aim is done by dental professionals with extensive dental experience.


Certification

You will receive a Certificate in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting, and an optional letter of recommendation outlining your training and experience. X-ray training in accordance with state regulations.


This will be awarded to all students who have attained a 70% or above grade average.


Training in all phases of General Dentistry, including, Endodontics, Crown & Bridge, Cosmetic Bonding, Amalgam Restorations, Impressions, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, 4-handed dentistry, front desk, and much more!


Refunds, Cancellations

1. Cancellations must be made in person or by certified mail


2. All monies will be refunded if the school does not accept the applicant or if the student cancels within (3) three business days after signing the Enrollment Agreement and making initial payment.


3. Cancellation after the third (3rd) business day, but before the first class, will result in a refund of all monies paid, with the exception of the administration fee of $100.


4. Cancellation after attendance has begun, but prior to 40% completion of the program, will result in a pro rata refund computed on the number of hours completed to the total program hours.


5. Cancellation after completing 40% of the program will result in no refund.


6. Termination Date: The termination date for the refund computation purposes is the last date of actual attendance by the student unless earlier written notice is received.


7. Refund will be made within 30 days of termination or receipt of cancellation notice.


8. A student can be dismissed, at the discretion of the Owner, for insufficient progress, nonpayment of costs, or failure to comply with the rules.


9. Those wishing to cancel for illness or personal reasons may resume their course of study in the next class series with no penalty and may repeat the already completed sessions if desired at no additional charge or pick up where they left off in the course.


10. For any program or course that is cancelled by the institution, the institution will refund the tuition in full or apply the tuition to a future course depending on the wishes of the student.


11. I waive the school from all liability and will cover my own medical occurrences. I have read the whole Enrollment Agreement and agree by signing.


Tuition and Financial Arrangements

The tuition fee includes all of the following:

All training course material including notebook and visual aids, materials and dental supplies used in the clinical training.


Use of all equipment and instrumentation with actual "hands on" training during the course of study. There are no hidden costs or expenses due to the school once you get started.


Not included in your tuition is the purchase of your scrubs. Navy blue scrubs will be required. And your choice of tennis shoes, no heals or open toed shoes. You may also want pen and paper for notes.


The tuition for the DENTAL ASSISTING course of study offered by this Institution is: $4000.00 (Payment Plans Available)
